Rev. Dave Emery
INTERIM LEAD PASTOR
Pastor Dave is a native of the Pacific NW and loves the mountains, the oceans, the lakes, the rivers and the coffee here. He has served in California, Colorado, New Jersey, Virginia and here in the Pacific Northwest throughout his ministry to date.
Pastor Dave has a passion for the spiritual life. It is in being more than we are as human beings by the power and grace of God that informs and shapes us. This makes a difference in our lives. His deepest conviction is that this rootedness in God leads us to action, directs our speech and shapes our very soul.
This propensity for enrichment, courage, strength and conviction empowers us to live differently than others who have no faith. He loves transitional ministry as it is a time for reflection, assessment and visioning what we are to be all about. Pastor Dave graduated from High School at the Christian Academy in Japan, college at Seattle Pacific University, seminary at San Francisco Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Ministry at Drew Theological School in Madison, New Jersey.
Pastor Dave is married to Joyce who is pastor at East Woods Presbyterian Church in Vancouver, WA. They have four children and ten grandchildren. They enjoy taking trips around this area and spending time with their family.
