Kids & Youth

Children (0 - 3)

For parents who choose to keep their children with them, a basket of activities is available.

If you would like a break, infants through three year olds are welcomed in our nursery from 9:45 to 11:15 am, and cared for by our own Martha Worley. The nursery is well stocked with everything a child may need.

Children (4-11)

A key part of our worship gathering is the Children's Time message. After a brief greeting time, one of our church leaders takes to the steps to speak to the kids in our midst about life, emotions, family, growing - all centered around the scripture readings for the day. Once the scripture readings are done, kids elementary age and below are invited to head downstairs for Sunday School!

Children's Choir

During the school year the children and youth add extra joy to our worship, either by joining the adult singers, or by making their very own “joyful noise”.

Summer BBQ's

In the Summer we gather in the parking lot for Community BBQ's - each focusing on a practical way we can show God's love by lifting our community. Last year we gathered food for the local food bank and wrote notes of encouragement for our Templeton Backpack Project recipients. There are games, chalk, and bike riding areas for the kids, and it's a great time to connect with our community!

Growing in God

Finally, we love seeing families grow through studying together and engaging with Christian books and DVDs for kids and families that are available in our library.

Youth (6th Through 12th Grade)

Local Missions

6th through 12th grade youth are involved in mission and ministry such as our community garden, the Templeton Elementary Backpack Project, and helping to direct mission funds to local charities.

Global Missions

We have taken music and mission trips both in the US and abroad. Past mission trips include Chicago, New Orleans for hurricane relief, Missouri for tornado relief, West Virginia, Vancouver BC, Mexico, and Honduras.
